ABOUT VICTORIA CHU SHOEMAKER

Victoria Chu is a Footwear Designer and Maker who runs an independent label, Victoria Chu Shoemaker.
Her workshop is based in Brooklyn NSW.

Victoria believes that footwear should be beautiful, comfortable, and good for you. In addition to making shoes for fashion and allied health professionals, Victoria is currently studying BA Podiatry at the University of Newcastle.

Victoria’s Shoes have been featured at Perth Fashion week, the QVB Fashion Fair and various fashions editorials. She has also been shortlisted for an Art Prize at Wallarobba Art and Cultural Centre. 

​

Victoria holds a Certificate in Footwear Design from the London College of Fashion, a Certificate in Custom Made Footwear from Ultimo TAFE, and a BA in Social Science from the University of Canberra.

When she is not in her workshop or at university you might find her running the trails of the Great North Walk or Kayaking the beautiful Hawkesbury River.
